How it works
You hand over a key. We do the rest
There is no drop-off, no collection, and no carrier. Here's exactly how a booking runs, from the first phone call to the day you get home.
Get in touch
Ring, message or fill in the form with your dates and roughly where you are. We'll tell you straight away whether we're free.
We come and collect the keys
Before you travel, we'll arrange a time to come round, pick up your keys and go through everything properly. Where the food lives, which cupboard the litter is in, which cat is which, what the alarm code is, and anything that doesn't fit on a form. It usually takes twenty minutes and it's the reason the rest of it runs smoothly.
You settle up before you go
We'll send you an invoice once the dates are confirmed, and payment is due by bank transfer before your first visit. It means there's nothing to sort out when you land, and nothing hanging over the trip.
You go away
That's it. Nothing to drop off, nothing to load into a carrier, no detour on the way to the airport. Your cat notices roughly nothing until dinner time.
We visit, once or twice a day
Feeding, water, litter, medication, company and a proper look at how she's doing. Plus post, bins, curtains and an eye on the house.
You get the Visit Note
A photo and a few lines after every single visit, sent the same day. You'll know how she is before you've finished your coffee.
You come home
To a cat who's been in her own bed the whole time, a tidy hall, and no round trip to a cattery. We'll return your keys, or hold onto them for next time if you'd rather. Your call, in writing either way.
Step two, in detail
The key collection visit
Twenty minutes, before you travel, and there's no charge for it.
This is the part that makes everything else work, and it's also the part where you get to decide whether you actually want us in your house. That's fair enough. We'd want the same.
We'll come round at a time that suits you, meet your cat if she deigns to appear, and go through the practical things: where the food lives, which cupboard the litter is in, how the back door sticks, the alarm code, the bin week, which plant is temperamental, and where she hides when she's sulking.
If you'd like to see our DBS certificate and insurance documents, ask and we'll email them over before you book. Please do ask, of us and of anyone else you are considering. It is a reasonable thing to ask of a stranger holding your front door key.
We'll also take your vet's details and your written permission to seek treatment if the worst happens, agree who else should get the Visit Note, and confirm what happens to your keys when you're home, returned, or held securely for next time. Your call, in writing either way.
Ready when you are
Send us your dates and we'll tell you straight away whether we're free, then we'll sort out a time to come and collect the keys.
